Karla Iglesias

Karla Iglesias, an associate attorney at Lusk, Drasites & Tolisano, P.A, has several years of civil litigation experience, defending and representing clients in homeowners’ insurance claims and personal injury cases.

Ms. Iglesias graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and subsequently earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating in the top 20% of her class.

While in law school, Ms. Iglesias earned CALI Awards of Excellence for achieving the highest grades in the courses of Legal Research and Writing, Advanced Legal Research and Writing, and Constitutional Law. Ms. Iglesias’ passion for litigation also resulted in her exceptional performance in the courses of Evidence and Trial Practice.

Prior to pursuing a law degree, Ms. Iglesias spent over five years as an automobile insurance agent and then worked as a litigation paralegal for three years.

Ms. Iglesias was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and is proud to be first American generation college and law school graduate. She is fluent in Spanish.
